DESCRIPTION This heavy, gray-black cloak seems to absorb light, its interior lined with shifting shadows. The wearer gains concealment (20% miss chance) in areas of dim light or darker. Once per day, the wearer may activate the cloak to become invisible (as greater invisibility , CL 9th) for up to 9 rounds. While this ability is active, the wearer leaves behind faint afterimages that move independently, granting a +4 bonus on Hide checks. However, each time the cloak’s invisibility is used, the wearer must succeed on a DC 16 Will save or become partially detached from reality, taking a –2 penalty on attack rolls and skill checks for 10 minutes as their sense of self flickers. Whisperfang grants a +5 competence bonus on Bluff checks made while it is held. Once per day, when striking a flat-footed opponent, the wielder may channel the dagger’s magic to deal an additional 2d6 points of damage and force the target to succeed on a DC 14 Will save or become shaken for 1d4 rounds. If used to deliver a coup de grace, the dagger allows the wielder to perfectly mimic the victim’s voice for 24 hours, as though affected by disguise self (voice only). Once per day, if the wielder reduces a creature to 0 or fewer hit points, they may force the dying creature to speak a single truthful statement (as speak with dead but  requiring no corpse preservation and lasting only one question).
