DESCRIPTION

This delicately crafted golden amulet is shaped in the symbolic form of a yoni, its curves smooth and organic, encircling a polished opalescent cabochon that softly catches and diffuses light. When worn by a female creature with a humanoid or similar reproductive biology, the amulet exerts a subtle but absolute abjurative effect upon the body’s reproductive processes.

While worn, the user is rendered completely incapable of becoming pregnant by any means, whether mundane or magical. This effect applies regardless of the source, including spells, supernatural abilities, or divine intervention below the level of a deity. The amulet does not interfere with other biological or magical functions, nor does it alter hormonal balance, vitality, or physical pleasure. It strictly prevents conception.

The effect is continuous and requires no activation. Removal of the amulet immediately ends its protection, and normal biological function resumes without delay or lingering consequence.

One must take care not to dismiss such an object as merely practical, for in truth, it represents something far more profound than its simple enchantment suggests. Here is not a charm of power, nor protection in the traditional sense, but rather a quiet assertion of will - a boundary drawn not against the world, but against possibility itself.

It does not deny life, as some would hastily claim, but instead governs the conditions under which life may begin. In this, it reflects a deeply personal philosophy - that creation, in all its forms, is most meaningful when chosen, rather than imposed by chance or circumstance. The amulet does not argue, does not persuade - it simply enforces.

I find it fascinating that such a subtle enchantment can provoke such disproportionate reactions among those who encounter it. There are those who see it as liberation, others as defiance, and still others as quiet heresy. Yet the object itself remains entirely indifferent to these interpretations, performing its function with unwavering neutrality.

In the end, I suspect the discomfort it inspires in some is not born of the magic, but of what it implies - that even the most fundamental aspects of existence may be subject to personal authority. And that, I think, unsettles far more than any spell ever could.
