These magical single-spell stones are made from precious gemstones, and any character class may use the spell contained within the stone provided that they are of a high enough level that they would be able to cast the spell if they were of the appropriate class (i.e. a fighter must be 5th level to use a Fireball runestone, etc). When the runestone is used, the color fades and it becomes worthless and gray. Creating a runestone requires the Craft Runestone feat and the Skill: Craft (Runestone). The Skill DC to craft the runestone is 15 + the level of the spell, and the gemstone required will cost 100gp per spell level. When the spell is cast, its level is equal to the level of the spellcaster that created the runestone (who must know the spell in the first place and be high enough level to cast it himself).
